As a reader of the worlds best selling book I at one time in the past decided to choose a key verse from both the Old and New Testaments.
The verses chosen were meant to be personal and not necessarily the most theologically significant. The choice was more like a focus for my life.
The verse I chose from the Old Testament is one from the musician king, David. I was impressed by his focus, the exclusivity of attention he paid to this, and he was known as a man after God's heart. I was eager to attach myself to this idea. The song that resulted from it is called "One Thing."
